Multiple citizenship is a person's citizenship status, in which he/she is simultaneously considered as a citizen of more than one country under the laws of those countries. It is also known as Multiple Nationality or Dual Nationality.
If a person has the citizenship of two countries , it is known as "Dormant citizenship".
While He/she permanently living in one country his/her status and rights in the other country are "Inactive".
Incase, if he/she move back to same country then his/her status and rights will be "Reactivated" again.
Some countries permit to give dual citizenship while some countries do not permit .
