What happens when plant is exposed to unidirectional light? Explian the mechanism

Answer:

By using specific photoreceptors plants can detect the light. Hence, exposure to unidirectional light resulted in the curvature toward the light. Auxin helps for the cell elongation. Because of the action of auxins, plants bend towards the light.
