what happens when potassium iodide solution is added to lead nitrate solution? give equation to support your answer

Lead nitrate solution contains particles or ions of lead and potassium iodide solution contains iodide particles or ions . When both the solutions are mixed , the lead particles and the iodide particles combine and create two new compounds .
