When Propene reacts with HBr in the absence of peroxide then it follow Markonikove's rule and Br attack on the carbon which is less substituted i.e the carbon which has less no.of hydrogen.
If Propene reacts with HBr in presence of peroxide i.e H2O2 then it follow Anti-Markonikove's rule and the Br attack on the carbon which is more substituted i.e carbon has more no.of hydrogen.
