When RBCs are put in isotonic solution then amount of water goes out is equal to amount of water coming inside .0.9%salt Sol. and 5% glucose Sol. In hypertonic Sol. amount of water going out is more than amount of water coming in .For RBC 1.25 % salt Sol. & 10% glucose Sol. is hypertonic . In hypotonic Sol. amount of water going out is less than amount of water coming inside . For RBC 0.66%salt Sol. and 0.2% glucose Sol. is hypertonic
