What happens when Red Litmus is added to an acid and a base? (I am Basically asking the color change in respective situations)

acid make it red and base made it blue .. .. hope u will understand .

here's your answer mate..,

when red litmus is added to
acid....then it remains red only


but when it is added to base.....it turns blue
