Due to the exposition to air, Decomposition occurs on Silver chloride and it gets decomposed into silver and chlorine. Gradually it occurs a grey Colour.

when silver chloride exposed to air then the decomposition takes place wjich breaks the silver chloride into silver and chloride. when the decomposition takes place the white colour of silver chloride changes to grey due to the formation of silver metal.
