What happens when someone marks your answer as branliest?

Brainliest' answer refers to 'the best answer' out of the two answers you get when asked a question. If you are the 'Author' or the 'asker' of the question, then only you can chose. After two answers have been given, you get an option to 'Mark as Brainliest Answer', for the answer you found the most useful. If you mark someone as Brainliest, you receive 25% of the total points of what you had assigned for the question. These answers can help you level up your ranks.

But I have seen if there is only one answer instead of two than also there is a branliest option.why?
I don't think it's a brainliest answer...............may be its just for rating

Hey friend!!
When a user asks a question, the user assigns some points for the answer.If you answer the question then you will get 50%of it. Brainiest answer is the best answer out of the two answers given. When your answer is the brainiest then you will get a additional of 25% of it.
This is why it is important!!
