Thanks for the question!

It is definitely a very interesting question to solve and do some brainstorming.

Gigantism:

• It is caused due to an excess of secretion of growth hormone during the growth period from an early age or venture.

• It is characterised by large and we'll proportionate body throughout the sides.

• If size of pituitary gland increases, it will surely affect (suppress in the clear sense) optic chiasma which will ultimately affect the vision and the perceptiveness of the patient or affected individual.

• Since growth hormone promotes protein anabolism, the absorption of calcium from the bowel and the conversion of glycogen to glucose. There will be a much larger bone density or stronger bones which are going to be heavy over time.

Pituitary dwarfism:

• It is caused by the deficiency of growth hormones (GH) from an early age or from the start of the childhood.

• It is a disorder caused in children due to hyposecretion of growth hormones during growth period (including the irregular levels of somatostatin).

• Growth of the body cells, bones and muscles is retarded and there is less ATP formation.

• It is characterised by small but well proportionated body and a little sexual immaturity. The dwarfs produced by the deficiency of growth hormone are different from those which are formed from the deficiency of thyroid hormone in having normal intelligence.
