What happens when the incident ray strikes the reflecting surface normally ?

it bouce back on the same path as it came so angle of i and r is 0 in this case .

It retraces it's path as by laws of reflection states that
angle made by incident ray with normal =angle made by reflected ray with normal
but in this case all these 3 lines coincide
also shows angle I =angle r=0
