What happens when the north pole of a magnet is brought near to the north pole of a suspended magnet.

Like poles repel each other. Therefore,when north pole of a magnet is brought near North pole of suspended magnet, the magnets with repel each other and the suspended magnet will move away from the other magnet.

When The north pole of a magnet is brought near to the north pole of a suspended magnet the following phenomenon takes place-

1. According to our existing knowledge, the same poles of two different magnets have a repelling effect whereas alternative poles of two different magnets have an attracting effect.

2. So, when the north pole of a magnet is brought near the north pole of another suspended magnet, it will repulse and push back each other as both the poles are the same.

3. On the other hand, if one between the two poles would be a south pole, it would attract each other.
