when the vibration passed into the eardrum it starts vibrating these vibrations are then passed into the oval window made by three bones hammer , anvil , stirrup . They magnify the force of vibrations which act as a liver with the pivot. The oval window has a smaller area than the eardrum . so this increases pressure on the oval window an on the liquid in çóçhlêá. The vibrations of the liquid in çóçhléâ affect thousands of auditory nerves which send messages to the brain.
