what happens when two forces are exerted in same direction and when two forces are exerted in opposite direction?

when the force is exerted in same direction there would be change its position
And when two force exerted in opposite direction there is no change its position

1. Opposite direction :- The object do not moves his place because When the two forces act in the opposite direction , the force get cancelled when a force of same magnitude is applied on opposite direction .

2. Same Direction :- The object moves his place because When two forces act in the same direction , the force gets double . The magnitude of first force gets multiplied by another force . It gets boosted .
