and if 2 forces are exerted in same direction the object tends to move in direction in which force is applied .
and if 2 forces of equal magnitudes are applied in opposite direction the net force will zero and there will be no change in it's position .
but if magnitude is different then the object will move in the opposite direction in which magnitude of force is applied greater .
