what happens when u open a bottle of perfume

When you open a perfume, The volatile particles began to escape out of the bottle. These volatile particles are mainly composed of aromatic compounds such as esters and benzene. When they come in contact with a surface your nose detects it and thus you smell the perfume.

particles of air and spread and reach us even at a distance. This process is

called diffusion.
