What happens when use 10W40 grade of engine oil instead of 20W40 grade oil for Hero bikes? ​

A 20 W 40 oil can replace a 10 W 40 if your winter / cold temperatures are not too low. ... So for 10W40 oil, when your engine is cool it will have a 10 grade viscosity. Once your engine is hot, the oil will become thicker (40 grade in viscosity)
