When we are injured and start bleeding then platelets present in our blood help in coagulation of blood or clotting of blood. And, blood stops flow.


if there are no platelets in our blood our skin would not be able to stop the bleeding if we have cut because platelet are there to induce the clotting action which stop bleeding and loss of blood. thus, there would be overflow of blood and we would lose life.
