When we flood any container filled with water then the water will come out of container and then it will spill down, this happens due to physical force applied on the water in the container namely Archimedes Principle applied here...
Archimedes Principle states that when a liquid is partially or fully immersed in water then a upward force is applied to water and hence it spills down...
