What happens when we place the blood cell in water (hypotonic solution) give reason?

Blood cells swells up due to endoosmosis. Upon keeping cell in hypotonic solution the turgor pressure increases increasing its DPD which increases its osmotic pressure thereby increasing its tendency to absorb water(solvent molecules only) molecules.
