What happens when we supply heat to ice at 0 degrees

For ice, the melting point is 0°C or 273K. ... During the melting process, till all the icemelts, the temperature of the system does not increase until after the melting point is reached. The whole of the supplied heatenergy is consumed in increasing the potential energy of the ice molecules.

I think the ice will melt because ice can melt at o degree Celsius
