Acetone is a volatile liquid. So it evaporates quickly at room temperature. So when acetone is put on our palm, it evaporates and our palm feels very cool as it absorbs energy from our palm when it evaporates.

Acetone is an organic compound with molecular formula \bold{\mathrm{CH}_{3}-\mathrm{CO}-\mathrm{CH}_{3}}. It is one of the most common organic solvent used in different industries.

It is a volatile liquid which means it evaporates quickly even at the room temperature. Therefore when you ‘pour some acetone’ on your palm it ‘evaporates quickly’ and leave with cooling effect.

Since ‘evaporation’ is an “endothermic process” therefore it leaves the cooling effect. Hence when you ‘pour some acetone on your palm’ it will evaporate with cooling effect.
