What happens when Zinc reacts with dil H2SO4?​

When zinc reacts with dil H2SO4 , a displacement reaction takes place as Zinc being more reactive than Hydrogen displaces it from H2SO4 and the new product ZnSO4 and H2 is formed.

Zn + H2SO4 ------> ZnSO4 + H2
