when zinc granules react with dilute sulphuric acid , displacement reaction takes place.

Zn+H2SO4 = ZnSO4+H2

In this reaction hydrogen gas is evolved which is colourless and odourless .

And the colour of the solution changes to colourless.

so option a is correct.
