What happens with the temperature during the neutralization reaction?

Hi dude:))

the temperature during neutralisation reaction generally rises i.e, neutralisation reactions are exothermic generally.

if you ask why, it is because the combination of 2 substances is generally exothermic and here an acid and a base are combining so GOSH it will definitely produce lots of energy phew !
