Osmosis: movement of water from its higher concentraton to its lower concentration, through a semi permeable membrane.
Endosmosis:movement of water into the cellExosmosis:movement of water out of the cell.
If RBC cell are kept in saline solution, they gets shrunken,as water moves from the RBC cells into the saline solution.i.e they undergo exosmosis.
NOTE: # only concentration of water is taken into consideration.# osmosis occurs only through a semi permeable membrane.# exosmosis is also know as plasmolysis.
