what hardships did wangjia undergo on his way to find the bird​

wangjia had to cross a cast scree in punishment for not killing lausangs mother, his feet and hand were cut into pieces and torn to shreds but he didnt give up the second monster punished him for not poisoning old gaffer silong he lost his bread and had to suffer from hunger starvation ,the third monster  gouged his eye balls as wangjia refused gouge bhimas eyes ,but wangjia continued on his journey till he reached the bird of happiness. he was only skin and bone, all his hardships and pain ended with the thought that he would be able to take the bird of happiness with him to his village.
