due to some toxic gases like nitrogen and sulpur oxides which reacts with rain and come as acid rain of pH 5.6 which is basically a acid that corrodes the layer of the materialby which our beautiful monument of India is made

tajmahal to turn yellow because that tajmahal around many reafinary .it is spread pollution therefore air pollution touch the taj mahal and its White colour change into yellow.
