Explanation:

What is life? It is such a simple question, but so difficult to answer. To some people it is a glorious gift to be enjoyed to the fullest each and every day, but to others, life is a sentence—a punishment from which they cannot wait to escape. How could two people have such different views on this topic? Sitting in the bright white office, I leant back and spun my chair, gazing at the midnight blue chairs, lime green couch, and the contrasting branch wall as I thought oh so curiously about life and its ups and downs. I thought about Beckett Caverly, a quiet and lonely child. It was cold, foggy morning when I first met Beckett. Hearing a knock on my door, I quickly rushed to open it and saw a small brown-haired child in hand with a stern old lady. The lady pushed Beckett through the door and quickly walked out of the practice. Beckett slowly and quietly crept past the chairs and the desk, heading straight to the window. I walked up to him and introduced myself, but never once did his gaze move off raindrops. I slowly pulled him away from window and towards the couch. He just sat there, fidgeting mutely. He didn’t talk to me, but I quickly learned that he was a severely depressed child. He was quite underweight for his age, constantly fidgeting, very exhausted, and always frowning with dull blue eyes.
