Look at the recent work regarding gut bacteria, knowledge that’s been around for at least a hundred years is now being claimed as a ‘NEW’ field of study . . there is little or NO money in using nature’s natural methods to fix people . . nature provides no monetary kickbacks . . and no, 100 yrs ago they did NOT get it wrong, they were successful in the treatments given.

When it comes to traditional medicine, it is linked with the society. It is a process of free sharing for clearing the suffering of neighbor.
It is not affordable, but locally available. Modern is associated with a business. People want to earn at this suffering.
The modern medicine decides to kill traditional. Now, it loses its charm because of expensiveness, so Ayurveda will make the comeback successfully.
