Cause for legs we are okay that it can be either straight or if knees included then fold-able legs possible.
But not in this world I accept Bed or Table as the solution to the riddle, it doesn’t completes the riddle. Bed, Table are just flat, this thing does not satisfies it. the best riddle i can think of it as ← 4 legs + 1 Waist which would have been at-least more satisfactory.

CAR satisfies everything but it is also true that we can’t open doors in our foots like in car but when doors are closed then it satisfies completely. As it’s non-living but we are living so nothing can be done for that.
