• When I finished shaking the basin, I saw that there was a lot of liquid everywhere and that fragments of red and tomato seeds were all over the place.
• Custard, honey, and tomato sauce are examples of unique liquids known as non-Newtonian fluids. They behave both like liquids and solids in some situations.
• When you shake a tomato sauce bottle, the act of exerting effort or tension causes the sauce to flow more freely as opposed to when you turn the bottle upside down and nothing comes out (reduces its viscosity).

• Honey has the same properties. Some forms of uncooked custard act like solids if you strike them, and the more force you apply, the firmer the custard gets.
