What heat treatment process is best suitable for aluminium composites?

As we know there are various heat treatment methods (T4, T6, T7, T3 and T8) for modifying the properties of the aluminium alloys (grain modifier, varying solutionizing temperature, artificial ageing etc.). How far these methods will be applicable to the composites.
