Johnsy has a baseless fear and depression that she will die as the last leaf fell down but behrman who was the painter painted a duplicate ivy leaf and helped her to come out of the depression and fear that she had born in herself .yes it is Physiological in nature because today 's young have such baseless depression that they had born .
