Answer:

This question is from the book Le Morte d'Arthur. The book illustrates a story about King Arthur and his noble Knights.

Explanation:

In the book Merlin had prophesied that Arthur will kill Mordred. But before killing him he will get brutally wounded by him. He also said both Launcelot and Guinevere will die of illnesses afterwards leading to Constantine becoming king. All of this actually came true in the story.

In the tomb Arthur gave hope to the people that he will return just like Merlin. According to the story Merlin had told Arthur that: "I will tell you something else, King, that is perhaps a surprise for you. It will not happen for hundreds of years, but we will both come back".

In the last paragraph of the story it is stated: "Yet some men say in many parts of England that King Arthur is not dead, but carried by the will of our lord Jesus into another place." This means that people of England believed that King Arthur has not died and will come back again.
