Values depicted by Ali in the story "The letter" were : Infinite Pateince Boundless Faith Accuracy Precison Agility Alertness Understanding The qualities that made him suffer were The fact that he could understand the pain of separation. He, when he was young, used to hunt, and when his daughter him only could he understand the pain the partridges faced when they lost their parents. Agility , Precision added to his suffering as only becuase of these two qualities was he an adept hunter and he could shoot the animals. The qualities that made him noble and vituous His infinite patience and boundless faith was the reason he was still alive. In a way, even his ability to understand things made him noble and virtuous. Hope this answer helps.

The coachmen Ali was very sentimental. He used to wat for the letter from his daughter. The sentiments towards his daughter led him to suffer from many prblems. He was harressed in the post office. Everyday he used to waste his time in the post office waiting for his daughte's letter. These values led to his suffering.

Everyday he used to listen those comments from the people in the post office. After these situatuon also, he used to go to the post office only beacuse of his daughte's love. These values led him to be nobel and virtuous.
