                                   COMET-I

The story Comet -  I revolve around an introvert retired astrophysicist Manoj Dutta who was always distracted by the happenings of the outside world. He was known as "Dutta Da" in his area.

He bought a telescope after he retired and used to spend most of his time with it. His wife, Indrani Devi was always agitated with the fact that he spent such a substantial amount of time with the telescope. His telescope or Dibya Chakshu, (that's what he called his telescope) was his priceless possession. He finally discovered a comet which made him famous throughout the world.

I found the following things challenging in the chapter Comet-I:

• Dutta da and his wife did not enjoy the post-discovery situation.
• The way his life changed and he became famous overnight.
• The Dutta Comet was supposed to hit the Earth and the research committee wanted to keep everything a secret.
• Indira Devi wished that her husband would have never made such a discovery as she thought it brought him bad luck and nothing else.
