Games are fun but at times difficult to learn. As we learn how to play, we learn a lot of things also. Most games we play are challenging and therefore we get to learn a lot from them. I learnt how to play badminton growing up. Badminton is an interesting game. I learnt it in school with friends. While learning the game, I learnt a few crucial things. One was positioning. I learnt that everything was about positioning in the game. If you are at the right place, you can easily outsmart your opponent and win the game. If not, you will find yourself in an awkward position and consequently lose the game. I learnt to be quick on my fit and avoid being wrong footed by my opponent. All these helped me to grow in the game.
It is not a surprise for me that I have learnt to apply these lessons in life, i have learnt how important it is for me to be always ready in life. I have learnt to be quick to act and anticipate the events that may take place on the other side. This has made me achieve more. Even at times that I thought I could be beaten. Learning how to play badminton imparted in me very important values that I still apply to this very day. Learning how to play has had a serious impact on my life to this very day.
