Korea is a unique place. The juxtaposition between the modern and traditional striking. It is a first world place to travel that is inexpensive, transportation, clean drinking water and a great educational system.
It is easy to see and appreciate traditional folk culture as well success of Kpop, a thriving movie industry, huge department stores and business success everywhere.

And of course there is a unique and traditional food to eat.
The alphabets are unique and easy to learn. With a little bit of effort you will be able to make out menus and signs.
Lastly, it is a less expensive place to visit in this world. It is easy to find cheap hotels and cheap food in South Korea. Activities and attractions do not suffer from tourist price going. The people are helpful and the country has good transportation system.
Overall, I felt in love with south korea and would definitely go back. I definitely recommend it!

What do I like most about Korea? It is very difficult to answer because I like so many things but if I had to choose only one I would stay with:

People especially with the new generations and the young people.

When I was filming the documentary, I spent many hours at Hongik University, at first I did not dare to record them very closely, but they were immediately willing to be allowed to record despite the shamefulness of the Koreans ... I was invited to go out with them , To dinner, accompanied me to the door of my house, gave me chocolates and cookies every two by three. All to make me feel good about them.

When you are recording people you do not know, it is always a little uncomfortable, but the truth is that the attitude of the college students made me feel like one of them, to the point that I ended up leaving the camera to help them with their jobs. There you have me, at 5 in the morning helping them to finish their work ^^ When you receive so much your subconscious asks you to correspond by trying to speak always in your language.

I have always said that people are the ones who make a country and they are the most important resource. Korea is South Korea because people have done so, it is true that not all people are so good, but until today young people have always treated me very well and that is something I will always remember.

Those who are around 50 years old tend to be very different in the deal and with a lot more conservative values and beliefs, the treatment with them is very difficult because it is too respectful. We must also understand that the change in Korean society has been very rapid, that is why both contrast between the two generations.

As long as the people there do not change I will still like Korea :)
