Answer:

The difference between DNA viruses and RNA viruses is that 1-DNA viruses contain deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) as the genetic material whereas 1-RNA viruses have ribonucleic acid (RNA) as the genetic material. Both types may be single-stranded or double-stranded.

Examples- Of DNA viruses include smallpox, chickenpox, and herpes viruses. Examples- Of RNA viruses include polio, measles, and yellow fever viruses. Retroviruses, such as the HIV virus, have RNA as the genetic material but will have DNA intermediates in their replication cycle.
