what ideas and throught come to the poet minds when he finds a poisonous snake drinking water at his water thought?

The poet is very mesmerised by the beauty of snake... He feels the snake to be the guest.... But his voice of education tells him that if he was a man than he should kill the snake.....
The poet likes the snake....
Actually the poet has mixture of feelings and emotions in his mind regarding snake....
