What if I say that your life is just a simulation.

Explanation:

Here's what scientists say. “If we are living in a simulation, then the cosmos that we are observing is just a tiny piece of the totality of physical existence." Believers in the simulation hypothesis say our world may have been created by beings more technologically savvy than ourselves.

Answer:

please follow me and mark me as brilliant.

Explanation:

I’d imagine most of us would want to investigate it for the rest of our lives, until we understood it. Its possible that AI and quantum computing methods may well shed light on this for us. Either way, I’d want to know how this simulation differs (if indeed it does) from what we know of as the natural laws (our sciences). Then I’d seek to discover and explain precisely how this simulation actually creates the laws we know about, and whether or not knowing that it is a simulation actually changes anything. Is the simulation manipulating real mass and energy, or is the mass and energy itself a simulation? How are the rules of the simulation generated, edited/evolved and executed? Is it we ourselves that execute them? Do the rules fit with our existing knowledge of what we believe to be this universe? In other words, I’d seek to design experiments that expose the differences between the structures that support the simulation, the simulation itself, and the ways in which we perceive and may interact with it. Which I suppose just means that 4 years on, I’d still prefer to be

a scientist than an entrepreneur.

Simulation is a human word. That word does not describe reality well. The possibility is that this entire universe and life are purposefully designed. There are practical things that go along with this idea.

There would be entire sectors of this universe which are currently poorly understood, but would contain extremely advanced technology beyond any human technology. Today those sectors are called dark matter and dark energy.

From a practical point of view, what it means is that every life form would be pervaded by invisible fields which are difficult to detect. Even the human mind and soul would be constructs in this universe which would make it possible for the creator of this universe to experience the reality of this universe.

It could not be any more real for anything created in this universe. What if reality is designed? It does not change anything about reality, but the idea does open the door to beginning to understand the nature of that technology used to build stable structures in this universe which are not constructed using atoms, but do interact with atoms, interacting enough to manage the form and function of every life form.

What you do in life would be more important. The immortal soul would not just be a myth, it would be a reality that exists in this universe after death, and is still capable of interacting with this universe even when disconnected from a body. What would it be like to be trapped with nothing but your own thoughts for billions of years? That would be bad. Energy cannot be created or destroyed in this universe, and that truth probably also applies to any human soul created inside this universe.

A soul could be saved by our creator, put to sleep by our creator, or reconnected to a new body by our creator. On the flip side, for souls which reject their own creator, none of those things can happen. The soul would be real, it would have a small gravitational field, and if it is not held by God that soul would be left to fend for itself trying to exist on its own inside this reality.

The problem with that is that the human soul was designed to pilot a human body. The human soul is weak. The human soul is not an angelic being with enough power to fly around this universe and escape the gravitational pull of earth. Hell is very likely a default experience of falling towards the core of planet earth after a soul rejects God, and then God finally decides to give up on that soul after they have had many life times to evolve spiritually, but for whatever reason never managed to find the truth.

If this reality is designed, or a “simulation”, then the nature of reality and life are far more complex compared to what people typically imagine. There would be an entirely new realm of physics to explore which would quantify both dark matter and dark energy, among other things. Part of that advance in physics would make it possible to work with gravity fields directly, and leverage those fields to create interesting products like compact fusion power sources.
