What if ice was hot instead of cold?

Not only would it be uncomfortable to touch, but it would also make the Arctic much warmer than before. And prolonged exposure to the hot ice wouldn't be good either. Instead of frostbite, thermal burns would occur. Remember, although we call it hot ice it's far from frozen water that happens to be hot.
