Then there is a danger of entry of some unwanted substances in the cell which can harm the cell...Also inner contents of cell isn't separated from its outer one

If cell wall is absent in plant cell then all the functioning of all the cellorganelles present inside the cell would be affected as diffusion of various substances would not occur. The cell membrane provides several vital functions for the cell. Cell wallsanchor the cytoplasm and hold thecell's shape....
