The brain present in skull is made up of very delicate cells and can be damage by little wear and tear or even by little friction, now if skull joint were movable then they can lead to shearing of brain layers and brain can damage, so to prevent damaging of brain skull joint are non-movable

Most of the joints in the spine already are movable
