It means what if Earth stops rotating????
Due to the stoppage of rotation Earth will be out of solar system as the pull off sun cannot hold it anymore

Assuming, all life to be ended after this , the earth is still standing still in it’s position, Half of the earth will be baked under constant heat of the sun and the other half will be completely frozen . From the remaining resources life may appear again from the very begining , but Humans won’t be there in the upcoming centuries unless evolution continues it’s cycle.
