if there were no metals in world human life will become harder.

1) we will have no object to carry water.

2) no obejects to make food

3) cars, phone any many other things would be impossible to make.

4) buildings cannot be made. cz we use metal for foundations of buildings.

5) simple we can say, houses would not be made.

if there is no metals in the world then there is no base and basic solutions also there is no any jewellery or lusturous element except diamond (because it is non-metal)
