If there is no Sun photosynthesis will be stop. The Sun,s immense mass draws all the other planets in the solar system toward it... If the sun were to suddenly disappear , Earth and the other planets would retain their forward motion, effectively flying off into outer space in a straight line . No one has any idea what would happen if that occured .
