Later on Mr. Herriot took Tricki with himself at his veterinary hospital and followed a strict diet for him. While, the food sent by Ms. pumphrey which include Tricki's favourite wines and eggs was enjoyed by Mr. Herriot and other worker over there.

After sometime, Tricki was again healthy and active, now he was able to run and then he was sent to Ms. Pumphrey back.
