Poverty affects individuals in terms of hunger, thirst, illness. Because of poverty, one does not have money to afford food, water or medicines, which may lead to the latter.

On Society and Government

Poverty is passed from one generation to the next. It is a vicious cycle. Because of poverty, parents are unable to send their children to school. Uneducated children causes unemployment and they, too, will not be able to send their future children to school.
