Eklavya came to Guru Dronacharya to ask him if he would accept him as his disciple but Prince Arjuna interrupted Guru Dronacharya and said "our Guru has been appointed by the king to clean up the prince and the highborn how do you come inside the Gurukul and seek him? leave! now!!" he spat out looking enraged as he felt that eklavya has disturbed his practice.
eklavya was therefore stunned by Arjuna's behavior. he himself was the son of the chief clan but he never insulted any one below him in such a way.
